Hi
We recently made a change to our certificate that go daddy provides removing our server names from the certificate due to GODaddy's request. Therefore only using the mail.XXXX.com or bb.XXXX.com on the certificate. We have an Exchange 2007 server and
2013 server. Both having the same issue. Now few of the users are getting below pop message daily.
CHX006XXX122(it's our server name)
Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or changed by others. However, there is a problem with the site's security certificate.
x The security certificate is from a trusted certifying authority
x The security certificate has expired or is not yet vaild
x The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site.
Do you want to proceed... When I choose the View Certificate button, it brings up another window that shows you what certificate is in error. In this case, the certificate name is “mail.XXXXXXXX.com”. Which looks correct.
The issue goes away if I recreate the profile in mail settings. Any reason why this is happening? This is happening to Exchange 2007 users and 2013.
Any suggested will be appreciated! I just don't want to recreate everyone's mail profile.Mind you, we don't receive any errors when we access OWA...
