I believe I have read all that is written about this subject, but I cant really figure it out.
We have an ex2007, which uses webmail.company.com
We have a new ex2013, which should use the same URL.
I have created a record, legacy.company.com that points to exchange 2007 NLB, but I havent configured ex2007 internal nor external url.
My mailbox is on ex2007.
I have changed my local host file, so webmail.company.com points to ex2013. When I open that url, i come to ex2013 logon page, when i log on with my credentials, it redirect me to ex2007, and everything works as it should. Do I need to use the legacy name in ex2007 internal and external url? What I have read, it is used to redirect owa, but in this case it works anyway. Can anyone help me clear this out?
