Unable to Access 2010 OWA in Coexistence with 2013 Exchange

Hello Every One!

We are facing a strange issue in Coexistence of Exchange 2010 SP3 and Exchange 2013 CU2..

The details of the Setup and issue are as follows:

4 Domain Controllers servers (2003 + 2008 R2)

3 Exchange 2010 servers (1 HUBCAS, 2 Mailbox Servers in DAG)

2 Exchange 2013 Servers both with CAS and Mailbox Roles Database HA with DAG and CAS HA with DNS round robin.

Coming to the issue, we did our testing of services in coexistence during the testing phase and every thing was working fine, so we decided to move the CAS services to 2013 CAS in production and we switched the services to 2013 every thing was set to the Mark like OWA Access, OWA Proxying, Outlook Anywhere, Exchange Active Sync, Exchange Web Services for Both the Version of Exchange (2010 and 2013). But there is one issue in Exchange 2013 CU2 that if you make changes in 2010 Virtual directory and revert the same back to normal the changes does not happen.

Why i am telling this is because we made authentication changes to OW and ECP virtual directory as we were unable to get in to (See All Options) Available in OWA 2010, the page gets open and we can see the options on the Left hand side. But the options details are not available on right hand side. so to over come this issue made the changes to 2010 owa and ecp Virtual directory.

After we made the changes we were unable to access 2010 mailbox from 2013 CAS OWA URL, As proxying is not working i belive. And during troubleshooting we noted that there are events logged in Application logs Event ID: 3005.

so reverted the changes back on 2010 CAs server and still we are unable to assess the 2010 OWA from 2013 CAS.

Request you all to please help me out from this issue.... as this is a production environment.

Thanks in Advance.
