Hi,
I'm working on a hybrid deployment (fully patched on premise exchange 2013) to have a smooth move to exchange online. Atm I can move users to the cloud and the normal mail flow is running. Everything is fine so far.
The next steps will be:
- Make public folders usable for online and local users and leave pf local.
- Move all users in the next weeks to the cloud
- Move public folders to the cloud
- Uninstall on premise exchange

But... I got some questions:
Step 1: When I allready got public folder mailboxes: Why should I make new one? Is this on premise? Or do I have to make them in exchange online?
If I don't need to make new PF: Step4: Did that and I get from outlook a conflict that they couldnt access the server with the public folders.
