Hi to all, I'm trying to publish my first exchange server, until today i've always used pop3 connectors and smtp smarthosts, always gone good, but my company grown and now we need to made a change. This are the steps i've done...i need only some (home) suggestions.

- installed ex2013, bought a certificate with 2 sans (autodiscover.mybusiness.com and mail.mybusiness.com)

- in the provider of the hosting made an A record (mail.mybusiness.com) pointing to my public ip of the company

- in the provider of the hosting made a CNAME record autodiscover.mybusiness.com pointing to mail.mybusiness.com

- modified the mx record (mail.mybusiness.com) of the provider and pointed it to my public ip of the company

- opened on the firewall of the company 443 ad 25 port routed to internal Exchange 2013 server

- created a split zone internal of the company dns with A records that resolve autodiscover and mail records pointing to exchange private address.

Until now i hope have done all right. Now, my doubt.

- internally at the dns of the company have i to create other records?

- when i create the smtp connector for mail out, have i to specify in the fqdn mail.mybusiness.com and use only dns internal record choice?

if i've forgot something pls tell me...I've no Edge, server is only 1 with mailbox and cas role...

Last thing, if  you know a simply antispam\antivirus product i can use for my server you're welcome..thank you for all.

Gian
