So everyone,
I am hoping someone can make sense of what I did here. I am trying to deploy my first email server for my company.
I got the installation complete, created the send connector, created virtual directory's and then left the server alone for a few days. I
I came back to a broken exchange server.
I think I did something in either ECP or IIS that broke everything, but I can't seem to find a fix that works.
Background:
Windows server 2012 R2 valid with license but constant issues activating properly
Exchange was deployed and activated with valid product key
Followed a ton of articles about changing the certificates, reset IIS, etc. None of them have worked
Tried to reset virtual directories, but unable to log into PowerShell
Server is in a virtual environment
I have not purchased a valid SSL cert and won't until we deploy live
Here is the error from PowerShell
VERBOSE: Connecting to W2012-EX-01.i***t***.Com.New-PSSession : [w2012-ex-01.i***t***.com] Connecting to remote server w2012-ex-01.i**t***.com failed with the
following error message : The WinRM client received an HTTP status code of 403 from the remote WS-Management service.

This is in the error logs as well:
