Hi,
2 questions about autodiscover, that I believe has changed since 2010.
small test setup. 1 server with mailbox role, 2 servers with cas role.
load balanced name for outlook anywhere= cas.domain.com (also webservices)
made the correct urls and auth on cas1, and published only cas1 in dns (outlook only get ip for that cas server).
only changed the -AutoDiscoverServiceInternalUri on cas2 to point to cas.domain.com
Okey, in 2010 exchange outlook would get SCP from AD (pick the oldest not alwas true), connect to that CAS and get the settings provided to that CAS server!
In my exchange 2013 test. outlook receives SCP from AD, it returns cas.domain.com and then I KNOW i connects only to cas1 as I control that with the dns entry. BUT, outlook now gets autodiscover settings from both cas servers, so natrually i get cert warning as I have not changed the settings on cas2. (I know that I must make the same settings on CAS2 - this is just to understand wats going on behind the scene)
1. Anyone know about dokumentation about this new behavior ? MS ?
2. In outlook autodiscover test i get 1 EXCH, 1 EXPR, 1 WEB and 2 EXHTTP. I know that the 2 EXHTTP is because of the new InternalHostname parameter, but then what info does the EXPR then provide ? Dokumentation around that ? MS ?
